Faith & Community Group

Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Charismatic Community

"So then, we are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the holy ones and members of the household of God...in Him you are also being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit."        Eph 2:19,22

What we are about:

Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Charismatic Faith & Community Group offers a way for parishioners (married or single and all ages) to form and live a life of Christian community, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit, through a Catholic charismatic experience.

Events/offerings:

a) Gatherings – once a month, we gather in Highberger Hall on Saturdays from 6:30 – 8:30 pm; this time includes a Lord’s Day Celebration (prayers to begin our Sunday rest), dinner, praise & worship, adult sharing on various topics, children’s activity, and sharing of prayer needs
b) Social Gatherings - an informal get together to enjoy each other’s company and develop our friendships; these outings will vary and members of the group take turns planning them
c) Home Gatherings - members of the group are asked to plan a small get-together with another family or person, at their home, once a month.
d) Spiritual Companions members of the group are offered a way to gather regularly with another individual of the same sex, to accompany each other in their spiritual growth
e) Personal Private Prayer members of the group are expected to be growing in their personal private prayer life - For resources in this area, go to: jp2asu.org/prayer
f) Sunday Mass Reflections – families/individuals are encouraged to prepare for Sunday Mass
